  • 5/3 (Bainbridge Island) Gammal Dansk from Vancouver, B.C., will be the featured band at the First Saturday Dance at Island Center Hall on Bainbridge Island. Do come; this is a chance to enjoy a group that we don't see in the Seattle area too often. Their playing is tight and lyrical, ranging from easy sets and mixers to flowing polskas. The floor is in good shape, and you get to ride the ferry. Potluck dinner at 6 p.m.; dance from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Adults, $7; under 18, $3.50. Travel costs keep going up; call friends and carpool.   • 5/31 (Seattle) Zwiefacher. The Swedish Cultural Center sponsors another 5th Saturday Zwiefacher dance, 8 to 11 p.m., 1920 Dexter North, $8. The Zwiefacher is a rollicking and tricky couple dance in mixed rhythms, waltz, and march. Don't worry about doing perfect steps—there is little chance in this dance form. Just bring a sense of humor and enjoy. (We do lots of un-tricky waltzes and one-steps, too.) Quick lesson from 7:30 to 8 p.m. Info: pat@folkdancing.com.
